Bridges digital project

Project title: Feasibility and acceptability of using a digital platform to deliver content of the Bridges stroke workbook

Background

Stroke survivors in the Bridges Stroke Self-Management training programme are provided with the Bridges Stroke Workbook to support their self-management skills and goals. In recent years, there has been a major increase in the use of mobile and smart phone technologies which has driven the development of mobile health technologies.

The main aim of this project is to research into the feasibility and acceptability of converting the Bridges workbook content into a digital format. A digital version provides patients with aphasia, visual difficulties and other physical impairments with greater choice and flexibility as to what tool can be used to support their self-management.
