Bridges so far

Bridges has delivered workshops to a range of rehabilitation teams and practitioners across the UK and internationally.

To date we have delivered over 70 workshops to over 1300 stroke practitioners across the UK and Republic of Ireland, even New Zealand.

Bridges have also held a number of open workshops, which practitioners from all over the UK can attend. For more information about booking onto a Bridges open workshop, or organising a group workshops, please click here.

Evaluation of the Bridges stroke self-management programme through participant’s questionnaires, workshop feedback and case reflections is ongoing and continues to inform the development of the training programme, stroke workbook, and implementation of the programme across the stroke pathway.

Aside from regularly running training workshops, Bridges is currently undertaking a number of different projects and a number of large scale research studies. For more information about these, and other Bridges projects, please click here.

Bridges also holds an annual symposium, bringing together stroke survivors, health and social care practitioners and experts around the theme of self-management. For a summary of our past symposiums click here.
