We run open workshops for individual practitioners working in neurological and general rehabilitation, or perhaps you work with stroke survivors in the voluntary or third sector.

The Stroke Association

A UK-wide charity funding research into stroke prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation. Stroke patients and their families are assisted through its Rehabilitation and Support Services which include communication support, family and carer support, information services and welfare grants. The Stroke Association produces a number of publications, including a quarterly magazine Stroke News, patient leaflets and information for health professionals.

Different Strokes

A UK charity run by younger-aged stroke survivors and their families for young working age stroke survivors. It offers rehabilitation services, information and advice, as well as representation to Government, service providers and funders.

ARNI Institute

The ARNI Institute is a UK stroke exercise and rehabilitation charity which matches survivors up with its specialist instructors. Evidence-based functional 'retraining' strategies, including task-related training, are employed in order to help patients take charge of their own recoveries.
